Mechanical/Chiller Replacement
Project Overview
For this project, our team successfully executed the removal and replacement of critical HVAC infrastructure within a school facility, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to operations.
Scope of Work
Decommissioning & Removal:
Removed the existing rooftop cooling tower, including all associated piping and the structural steel access platform.
Decommissioned and removed the existing chiller from the mechanical room, along with all associated piping, electrical connections, VFDs, and concrete pads.
Structural Modifications & Installations:
Created a new masonry wall opening to accommodate the installation of the new chiller.
Removed ceilings in various locations throughout the school to facilitate installation and upgrades.
Installed a new rooftop cooling tower, coordinating all lifting operations and structural reinforcements.
Supplied and installed a new rooftop access platform and housekeeping pads for equipment stability.
Mechanical, Electrical & Finishing Work:
Installed the new chiller along with all associated electrical, plumbing, and control systems.
Restored roofing impacted by equipment replacement.
Installed new drywall and acoustic ceilings where required.
Applied firestopping to all penetrations for compliance and safety.
Installed new epoxy flooring in the mechanical room for durability and ease of maintenance.
Painted the mechanical room and other areas affected by construction, restoring the space to its original condition.

The project was executed efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Our team ensured that all systems were fully operational and compliant with industry standards, delivering a high-quality, long-lasting solution for the school’s HVAC infrastructure.
